GRATITUDE,COMPLIMENT & CONGRATULATION

On December 5th, 2010 I was even 15 years old. The first sentence that appears in my mind was, how grateful am with all this ! ya just imagine, 15 years I have got some great years for me. Moreover, there was my parents who still complete and always there beside me, my beloved brother,family,cousins, and friends who made my days,weeks,months,years never lack of color, all of Allah has given for me is more than enough .

Yap,guys, not just at birthdays course you should be grateful, but whenever and wherever! why? because be grateful make you feel much better, feeling quite be all that you have and you can feel closer to God, feel .. ah  thankful is something that must be done in your life !
In English lesson, its called 'Gratitude', and its related to which I have written above. Let's cekidot :) 

first,you must know and understand 

"what is the meaning of gratitude ?"

Gratitude is ..

an expression that we show or say to express grateful feeling to other people, when speaking English, you say “thanks” very often please say “thank you” when people give you something and give you compliment, etc.

even there's a proverb from a wise person, if you've hurt by someone,still say "thank you" because he has made you more stronger to go through this life. haha very hypocritical indeed, but it is quite reasonable,so why not to try it,right ? :)

In the expression of saying gratitude you can use:

·         Thank you very much

·         Thank you for your help

·         I’m really very grateful to you

·         You’re welcome

·         Don’t mention it

·         It’s a pleasure / My pleasure

·         I want to express my gratitude to (my teacher, my father, etc)

·         I am grateful to your help

To response of gratitude you can say  :

·         You’re welcome.

·         That’s all right.

·          No big deal / No problem.

·         That’s fine / My pleasure.

·         Not at all / Never mind.

Sirik itu tanda tak mampu,jadi kalau kamu ingin mampu makanya jangan sirik. 

Have you ever heard this proverb ?? If you've not,I would not be ashamed :D

Envious or jealous person is one who didn't want to see other people happy or successful or more from him/her. You do not want to not be classified as an envious person? okay, I have two tips for you not to be envious.  


First :


give someone else an award in the form of words when others get something great or doingsomething with success' or in English known as 'Congratulation'

   Congratulation is an expression that we use to give the congratulation utterance when he/she succeeds in doing something.

Congratulating

·         Congratulations!

·         Congratulations on your success!

·         Happy birthday!

·         Happy Lebaran Day/Happy led!

·         Merry Christmas!

·         Happy New Year!

·         Happy Valentine!

·         Happy anniversary!

Second :

say something real, good, and pleasing others as a compliment 'or in English called a compliment

Compliment is an expression that we show or say to express/give praise. Some people use compliments to “butter up” somebody or to flatter in order to increase good will.

You  can give compliment to someone at this following condition:

·   on his/her general appearance

·   if you notice something new about the person’s appearance

·   when you visit someone’s house for the first time

·   when other people do their best

The way of Complimenting:

·         What a nice dress!

·         You look great.

·         You look very nice/beautiful/handsome.

·         I really must express my admiration for your dance.

·         Good grades!

·         Excellent!

·         Nice work!

·         Good  job!

To response them you can use such as a “gratitude” as follow:

·         Thank you.

·         Really ?

·         I will.

·         Thanks a lot. Etc.

Now try practicing both ways, so you kept away from the class of envious people. Moreover, if you often pleasing other people, then you will be loved others too. Be nice person :)
